REIKI TRAINING

Sharon did her Reiki one and two training in 1997 and has been giving and receiving treatments ever since. Over the years she has gained a wealth of knowledge and experience.

During 2003/4 she began to receive “strong” messages from her guides that she must join the band of Reiki teachers, making Reiki more and more available to people from all walks of life. It was also made very clear to her that in many cases Reiki would be the first step on the path for many, who would  eventually go on to become lightworkers in different ways chosen by spirit. This has been abundantly endorsed by seeing the wonderful development of her own students, as their gifts unfolded. The teaching of Reiki is Sharon’s passion, giving Reiki treatments is her joy. The power of Reiki lies in its simplicity, the love of Reiki lies in its abundance, which is readily available to all who seek it.

THE WORKSHOPS

Reiki is taught in three degrees. The first two degrees are taught at two-day workshops. After a period of time this is followed by the Advanced - Master Degree for those who genuinely desire it.

Reiki One -- 2 days

There must be a minimum of 21 days between each degree.

Reiki Two -- 2 days

Each degree is taught over a weekend in a very tranquil setting, with a maximum of 4 students, enabling plenty of “hands on experience.” A four part individual attunement is given for each degree.

Various topics are taught at each degree, including:

History of Reiki
Ethics of Reiki
Hand positions for self healing and healing others.
Aura and Chakra work
Distance healing
Group healing
Meditation
………..and much more!

Following Reiki One you are able to give a full treatment to yourself and to others.
To practice professionally, the Reiki Two degree must have been completed.

REIKI ADVANCED-MASTER DEGREE

This is done after a period of time (master’s discretion), in which the candidate has been giving and receiving Reiki on a regular basis, thus allowing experience and wisdom in the art to develop.
Reiki Master training is not an ego trip for those who wish to obtain what appears to be a grand title! Reiki Master training is sought by those who wish to deepen their connection to Reiki. There has to be a genuine desire for service and commitment. A desire to develop one’s own spirituality. The obligation of a Reiki Master is to teach others as they were taught, thus continuing the ancient lineage. Becoming a Reiki Master is a wonderful, exciting adventure which will change you and your life. It also brings abundant joy, laughter and love into your heart.

TRAINING

The training commences after an informal meeting between teacher and student. This is to determine that the relationship will be a good one! and that the student is ready to receive Master Degree. Reiki Advanced-Master Degree is taught combined. The length of the training varies from student to student, each works at their own pace. A number of case histories are presented by the student. Time is spent by each student working alongside their teacher.

Responsibilities of the Reiki Master.
Teaching and teaching practice.
Learning of master symbols.
Learning and practising the giving of the attunements for each Reiki degree.
Other exercises and meditations connected with Reiki are given.
